Premier Partnership has chosen Mind Matters Counselling LLP as our counselling and mediation service provider partner. This partnership enables us to offer one of the largest independent counselling and mediation services in the UK as part of an EAP (Employee Assistance Programme).

Our Counselling and Mediation services are focused on providing a service to the UK business community so that staff can be supported at times of stress and difficulty.

WHERE COUNSELLING CAN HELP

  • Following a traumatic event (e.g. robbery, violence)
  • Bereavement
  • Alcohol or drug related problems
  • Personal crisis (eg relationship difficulties)

Our objective is to support the continued presence in the workplace of staff or enable a return to work at an appropriate point, thereby reducing costs associated with long term mental health related staff absences.

Experience

You are in safe hands all Mind Matters counsellors are accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy www.bacp.co.uk which is the main professional body in the field. They are experienced in providing brief focused interventions suitable to the client's needs. The team of over 280 associate counselors provides national coverage. Every team member has been through a rigorous selection process and is fully insured 

Feedback

Individual client confidentiality is respected at all times, but we work together with the client to agree what feedback can be given to the referring organisation. This feedback can help the organisation to be aware of any significant factors that may need to be addressed internally

When time is of the essence you want to know that you will be attended to promptly. All referrals to our Premium Service will be offered an initial appointment within 3 working days

24/7 access to support

The service provides round the clock access to counsellors as part of an established Employee Assistance Programme. In addition, Premium Service clients can access a dedicated Critical Incident Support service - clients using this service include Asda and Spar UK

WHERE MEDIATION CAN HELP

Resolving personal disputes in the workplace

  • Mediation costs are typically one third of the costs associated with pursuing traditional grievance / investigation routes
  • Mediation is brief, typically lasting only one or two days
  • Involving an independent mediator protects the time of internal managers and specialists
  • Mind Matters can provide a mediator within 3 working days of referral thereby ensuring speedy resolution of difficulties
