By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

• Act safely and promptly when an emergency occurs at work
• Administer first aid promptly and effectively to casualties
• Recognise major and minor illness and take appropriate action
• Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation promptly and effectively

Content

• Legislative and basic requirements demonstrated to complete the course
• Demonstrating how to administer first aid promptly and effectively
• Demonstration of understanding signs to recognise major or minor illnesses
• Understand the principles first aid
• Complete a validation for first aid
• Demonstration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation

Format

This is a 3 day course incorporating presentations, demonstrations, practical exercises, case studies and discussions.
This format provides an ideal course that offers support to complete the course to gain an approved qualification.
