The 4 day IOSH Managing Safely course is the Gold Standard for managing safely. From risk assessment through to incident investigation. This course provides everything you need to meet your health and safety responsibilities to your staff colleagues and the law. The course is designed to give managers all they need to know to help them handle health and safety in their teams.

IOSH Refresher for Managing Safely
This is a one day course is for individuals who took their IOSH managing safely course over 3 years ago and who want to maintain and update their qualifications.
IOSH recommended best practice if for Managing Safely certificate holders to refresh their learning after a three year period. This ensures that they remain fully competent in all areas required to manage the safety of their teams.
Delegates will also be updated on any relevant changes in legislation: for example The Corporate Manslaughter/Homicide Act 2007.
This one day course will cover the following areas:
- HS(G)65 successful health & safety management
- Criminal & civil liabilities legal provisions
- Recent changes to legislation
- Awareness of the risk assessment process and carrying out a risk assessment
- Understanding the principals of pro-active & re-active monitoring and conducting a workplace inspection
- The principals of hazard identification and control
- Hierarchy of controls as define in regulations including minimising damage to the environment
- Managing specific workplace hazards and associated risks.
