Format
The course is assessed by a two written assessments and a practical in which you will demonstrate the ability to apply your learning and complete an management report.
Our trainers are enthusiastic experts with 18 years experience and have achieved very high pass rates. They will give you step-by-step guidance to ensure you are confident and prepared.
Accreditation
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health is an internationally recognised qualification. It is accredited at level 3 in the National Qualification framework (NQF) by the regulatory authorities including Ofqual.
Duration
This is a 11 day course and runs from 9:30am till 4:30pm.
It is made up of ten days of learning plus one extra day for revision and the assessment, usually held the week after the final training day.
NEBOSH also recommend at least 40 hours private study/background reading. We typically run open courses in two blocks of 5 days with a week off in between for private study.
We also offer in-company training where the delivery format can be fitted around your needs (e.g. one day a week). In-company training also allows us to make sure the training reflects your organisation’ systems of work and the hazards your staff face.

For the NEBOSH National General Certificate we suggest that you do some pre course reading. The Health and Safety Executive has suitable material. Visit www.hse.gov.uk Suggested free publications are:

We also suggest you identify what risk assessment procedures take place in your workplace now. This is helpful background knowledge which will be useful during your course.

£1200 plus VAT per delegate.
