The NEBOSH General Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work will benefit all organisations seeking to improve the efficiency and morale of their workforce. The qualification equips managers to minimise absence, encourage people back to work where possible, and deal effectively with the health issues of their staff.

It is suitable for Managers, Supervisors, HR Managers, and Safety Professionals who have responsibility for, or involvement in, the health and well-being of employees as part of their day-to-day duties.

• Managing absence and return to work
• Recognising and dealing with substance abuse
• Preventing stress and dealing with mental ill health at work
• Disability discrimination and protecting health at work
• Assessing risks to health at work
• Working effectively with health professionals
• Workplace health promotion
• Preventing and managing back pain

Format

The course is assessed by a two-hour written examination and a practical environmental review of a workplace or organisation to produce a justified action plan to improve performance.
Our trainers are enthusiastic experts with 18 years experience and have achieved very high pass rates. They will give you step-by-step guidance to ensure you are confident and prepared.

Duration

5 days plus a two hour exam, typically held the following week.
We also offer in-company training where the delivery format can be fitted around your needs (e.g. one day a week). In-company training also allows us to make sure the training reflects your organisation’s systems of work and the hazards your staff face.

£795 plus VAT per delegate.
