Ofcom Asks Premier to Deliver Training
Ofcom, the independent regulator and national competition authority for the communications industries within the UK, has signed a contract with Premier Partnership to deliver training in a number of areas relating to personal performance/effectiveness and interpersonal communications.
Ofcom has approximately 750 employees in 14 locations across the UK, with the majority based in the London office. Employees include a number of professionals i.e. accountants, lawyers, engineers, and economists to name but a few.
Premier will be providing a range of services depending on business demand, including:
- Running courses on site as part of a regular schedule of programmes for groups of Ofcom colleagues.
- Offering Ofcom colleagues places on public courses off site during periods of low demand at Ofcom.
- Running courses for Ofcom teams or departments (rather than individuals) on or off site.
Courses to be provided include:
- Presentation skills/Advanced presentation skills
- Negotiating, persuading and influencing skills
- Personal impact
- Effective working relationships
- Report, minutes, speech and business case writing
- Emotional intelligence
- Media skills & media awareness
