Leading Local Authority Learning and Development Consortium addressed by Keynote Speaker from Premier Partnership
The consortium invited David Pearson a Director of Premier Partnership to address a forum of key managers on the management of issues after change has taken place
The seminar was held recently in the Royal Pump Rooms Leamington Spa and attended by 60 Managers from the seven local authorities
David was introduced by Chris Elliott Chief Executive of Warwick District Council who noted that the seminar was taking place during a time when local authorities are undertaking a process of almost continuous and complex change in order to provide high quality value for money services to the communities they serve
David spoke about the perspective he has gained as a leading member of a team which has undertaken over 2000 individual change development initiatives with organisations as diverse as the NHS, DWP, BA, The Met Office and Royal Mail. In addition to which the company has worked with 39 local authorities and over 100 private sector organisations.
Delegates went in to group sessions to study and review a number of case studies based on real changes which had taken place in large and diverse public sector organisations
"The feedback we have received from delegates about this seminar was consistently positive and appreciative of the way in which such a complex issue was addressed in clear and simple terms" Stated Tracy Leonard Learning and Development Officer Warwick District Council
