Another month down of 2020, with lots of exciting news to report within the company. At Premier we go beyond the delivery of high-quality learning solutions, to ensure that learners are fully engaged in their training, asking them for feedback and reviewing/adapting programmes to meet their ever-changing needs. This month we received plenty of brilliant feedback from several trainees at an organisation, after undergoing a First Aid at Work Course for Hampshire County Council.

“Fun, informative, lots of science (which I like).  Thank you for making the learning engaging for 3 days.  You need to treat yourself to a box of chocolates”

“Fabulous!  Learned so much because we could have fun!  Enjoyed the Star Trek Picard!”

“This was the most informative and enjoyable first aid course I’ve been on.”

“I have learnt more than I have & in more depth than any previous ones I have been on.  Richard made it so interesting! Confident and funny, great at getting stuff across in easy way”

“Really enjoyed the course.  The trainer was very helpful and kept my interest – Thank you Richard”

We also had some rewarding feedback from a delegate who underwent the National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety course (NGC1) in London this Month with Premier:

“The tutor Mr Chris Webber is a fantastic teacher, he encouraged us to challenge him all the time, he was very knowledgeable and open to all of our questions, he was also able to continuously adapt his method of teaching to suit all of our abilities and is very patient with the attitude of no question is a silly question.

We as a group spoke several times agreeing that he has re sparked interest in health and safety in all of us and made the course enjoyable and alleviated any fears we had about the exam. I can only see Premier Partners students pass rates going up”

The Qualifications team have issued 622 C&G and CMI qualification certificates since 1st Jan 2020. So that’s 622 learners that are better equipped and skilled to undertake their roles daily. Round of applause for the Quals team!

The Tender team have started to use the project management app “Trello” which really is making a big difference to how we keep tabs on our tender bids. Trello really is an excellent easy-to-use project management tool – and it’s free. Not only is it great for use at work it lends itself well to any project that needs a lot of detailed planning and note-keeping.

The Premier Family truly helped to spread the love on Valentine’s day, by raising money for the British Heart Foundation. The British heart foundations vision is a world free from the fear of heart and circulatory diseases. They raise money to research cures and treatments, so that they can beat heartbreak forever.

On Time to talk day this month the team went for a walk and talk, to promote openness about mental health issues, and striving to remove the stigma surrounding mental health.

“Around 1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem this year yet the shame and silence can be as bad as the mental health problem itself. Your attitude to mental health could change someone’s life.”
