Whilst we are all experiencing such unprecedented and unnerving times, it may be difficult to keep a hold on morale and see beyond what is happening right now. Nonetheless, amidst all the chaos, like organisations across the Globe Premier are showing unity, resilience and honouring our recent achievements.

The first piece of work for Amazon has now been delivered, Level 3 CMI Certificate in Principles of Management and Leadership, with some fantastic feedback from the delegates. We were recently awarded a tender for The House of Commons, and IOPC have just extended their contract with us for a further year.  Our Tender Department have just recently been notified of our bid win for the Worcester County Council Learning and Development DPS. This covers Social Care, Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Corporate Business Skills and IT training.

On the 4th of March, our Director and Client Relationship Director attended the ESPO 360 event at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday, meeting and connecting with procurement professionals, and catching up with current Clients!

We now have a up to date, fully comprehensive Premier Partnership Brochure! See our E version here

HR have recently launched the purchase of additional annual leave which will allow employees to buy up to a working week of annual leave. Over the last few months HR has also been very busy with recruitment, with 9 new starters being employed to join our Premier team!

We are a family at Premier, and especially through trying times, families come together and help restore some form of normality. As well as looking positively forwards as a company, we are focussing on the silver linings:

  • We were able to get all staff working from home within a couple of days due to the enormous amount of work put in by the IT department!
  • We are progressing our Digital learning solutions at rapid pace. See our Digital learning options-
  • We have all united together, and are checking in on each other to check that those living alone or with health conditions are looked after and supported
  • Employees have come forward to offer to work a reduced week or with reduce pay to support the business and their colleagues
  • We are all showing community spirit and are getting behind the NHS

At Premier we cherish Delegate feedback. Trainer Bob Cooper received brilliant praise on several different NEBOSH NGC in occupational health and safety courses this year:

“Enjoyed the trainer, made the weeks enjoyable. A*!”

“Bob was very engaging and knowledgeable. This makes a big difference to learning!”

“Excellent trainer who gave actual incident examples to aid learning. This helped in knowledge retention. Spending time on real exam questions has helped calm the nerves!”

“Really useful and informative. Will be recommending to my colleagues”

“NEBOSH delivered in clear and concise manner- kept all the colleagues engaged”

“Bob was a fantastic trainer He was methodical and well empowered. Bob also inspired confidence not only in the subject but also the exam.”

Late yesterday afternoon our Tender team we were informed of a tender bid win, to deliver COSH training for the City of London Corporation. This is fantastic news for our team and positive to know that our clients are looking positively ahead to when normality returns.

Following on from this, just this morning our Tender team were informed of yet another  win in the form of our award to the Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation’s Emergency Services Training DPS! This will be running for the next four years.

Going forward, we are focussing on our staff’s wellbeing whilst working remotely, our clients specific needs, and developing vastly on our Digital learning solutions.
