We all know a key element to engaging learners is relevance. Clearly this equates to training delivery using the most appropriate language.
Premier Partnership are delighted to announce that the first ODP (Operational Delivery Profession) learner to undertake their City and Guilds Level 4 qualification in Managing the Delivery of Services has passed.
This may sound like an everyday occurrence, but the difference with this particular learner is that the whole qualification was passed in Welsh!
The level 4 qualification has been developed to equip learners with the knowledge, skills and behaviours in labour market intelligence, understand how to coach customers to achieve measurable objectives and put customer service at the heart of provision support offered to customers with a range of assessment methods throughout the qualification.
Premier Partnership worked hard to fully translate the qualification into Welsh and then ensure that all communications including feedback and the learners work was assessed in their language.
The delighted learner said, “I’ve completed my Welsh accreditation, I’m so chuffed, thank you to your team for all your support”.
Premier Partnership’s Amanda Kane, Strategic Partner for Qualifications said, “we are delighted to have been able to accommodate our clients request to build one of our C&G Level 4 qualifications in Welsh and are looking forward to the opportunity that this opens up to many more Welsh speaking learners”.
This pilot project can now pave the way for other Welsh learners to undertake qualifications helping keep the Welsh language alive and shows that Premier Partnership are flexible in finding the correct training solution for our clients.
